The FT Island also known as the Five Treasure Island (Korean: 에프티 아일랜드) started their career and entered the kpop last June in the year 2007.The members usually born on 90’s shows their extreme talents. It had the audition, few boys from South Korea entered as it wins five members and they are; Choi Jong-hun as the leader, lead guitarist and a pianist as well; Oh Won-bin which is the rapper, and the rhythm guitarist; Lee Hong-gi as the vocal; Lee Jae –Jin as the bass guitarist; Choi Min-hwan as the drummer. Their first album entitled “Cheerful Sensibility” with 13 tracks topped the hitcharts released by Mnet Media and awarded as the 6th best selling album for the year 2007 creating 36,037 copies . The album was divided by two chapters namely “Emotional Chapter” which has a rock-ballad genre and the “FT island Chapter” which has a pop-rock genre. The album was re-released on December 3, 2007 entitled “Refreshments” with three additional tracks. Nowadays, the FT Island preceded their career on Japan to record a Japanese album for Japanese fans.

CHOI JONG-HUN
The Leader, Lead Guitarist, and Pianist of the group was born on March 7, 1990. His education was in the Shindongshin Middle Information Industry High School.
OH WON-BIN
The Rapper and rhythm guitarist of the band was born on March 26, 1990. His education on Seongji High School.
LEE HONG-GI
The Vocalist of the band was born on February 6, 1990. His education was on Seongji High School.
LEE JAE-JIN
He was born on December 17, 1991 and the bass guitarist of the band. His education was on Seonyoo High School. He has acting debut in 2007 KBS2 daily sitcom Unstoppable Marriage as Wang Sa Baek (왕사백) as a regular cast.
CHOI MIN-HWAN
The youngest in the group born on November 11, 1992. His education was on the Yanghwa Middle School. He was the drummer of the band and called him "Min-Hwannie".
